Welcome to the podcast of imparting.org.

My name is Shane Moore.

If I may, I’d like to take a few moments to introduce you to the ministry of imparting.

This podcast is designed to encourage and equip Believers through the faithful exposition of God's Word.

Specifically, it is designed to be supplementary to the preaching you receive weekly at your local church.  Imparting comes from Paul's first letter to the Thessalonians.  In chapter two verse eight, Paul writes “having so fond an affection for you we were well pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God, but our own lives because you had become very dear to us.”

At imparting we believe sound doctrine is absolutely essential for the proclamation of the Gospel, but imparting the Word is never apart from imparting our lives.  Whilst we cannot be in relationship with you, we can certainly encourage you with these truths - - to impart the gospel and your life to others. This is the very crux of discipleship.

Paul echoes this in Second Timothy Chapter two verse two “Entrust these truths to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”

As we seek to fulfill the Great Commission, to take the truth of God's Word in relationship, we trust this podcast will enable you to do the same with confidence and great joy.

The sermons you will be hearing are from Rodney C. Brown, Jr. He is the senior pastor of Metro Bible Church in Southlake, Texas.  If you would like to hear more sermons or other series, visit us at metrobible.org.

In the coming weeks, we are going to begin our first series in the Book of Ruth.

We hope this is a blessing to you and look forward to our time together.
