God wants His children to know that there is no one like Him so they will proclaim His Name through all the earth.
In this message from Exodus 9:13-35, the plague of hail—mixed with fire and more severe than anything Egypt had ever seen—puts God’s unmatched power on full display. Yahweh turns up the volume so that both Pharaoh and His own people will realize there is no one like Him.
This text is meant to produce two things in God’s people: a deep realization of His supreme power, and the resulting proclamation of His name. When we truly grasp the greatness of our God, we cannot remain silent.
