God is sovereign and victorious, despite living in a worldly battle that looks otherwise.
In this message from Exodus 7:8-13, God gives Moses and Aaron a clear sign to perform before Pharaoh: the staff that becomes a serpent. When Pharaoh’s magicians appear to match the miracle, Aaron’s staff swallows theirs—demonstrating that Yahweh alone is the true and sovereign God.
This text reminds us that God’s Word never fails and that His victory is certain, even when the battle is still raging and the outcome is not yet fully visible. Believers can take comfort and stand firm, knowing the outcome is already secured by the hand of the Lord.
