God sovereignly orchestrates history to produce proper worship.
In this message from Exodus 6:13-27, what looks like a simple list of names is actually a powerful reminder of God’s meticulous sovereignty. Through this genealogy, Moses establishes the credibility of the Levitical priesthood and shows that God has been carefully directing family lines, births, and history itself so that true worship can take place.
Far from being filler, this passage comforts God’s people with the truth that nothing is random. The Lord works through ordinary generations to fulfill His purposes and bring about the worship He requires.
