EXODUS 13:1-16 | Forget Me Nots

Episode Notes

Believers celebrate, dedicate, and educate on their redemption.

In this message from Exodus 13:1-16, God returns His people to the theme of remembrance. Knowing how quickly we forget, He gives Israel three practical “forget-me-nots”: the annual celebration of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the dedication of every firstborn, and the deliberate education of the next generation by fathers.

These practices were designed so that the memory of their powerful redemption from slavery would never fade. The same call remains for us. We who have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb must celebrate, dedicate, and educate—so that neither we nor our children forget what God has done.
