Believers commit to worship our great God because He sovereignly redeems, blesses, and sustains us.
In this message from Exodus 12:29-41, the tenth plague strikes at midnight. Pharaoh, broken and defeated, finally issues an unconditional surrender and drives Israel out in haste. What looks like a sudden “you’re fired” moment for the Israelites is actually the culmination of God’s perfect, sovereign plan.
God not only redeems His people—He richly blesses them with silver and gold from the Egyptians and sustains them for the journey ahead. The proper response is not pride or self-congratulation, but committed gratitude and wholehearted worship of the God who alone orchestrates every detail of our redemption.
