ACTS 9:1-19 | A Chosen Instrument

Episode Notes

God grants sight to the blind and commissions them to take light into a dark world.

In this message from Acts 9:1-19, we step aside from Exodus for one week to examine Saul’s conversion on the Damascus road. The fire-breathing Pharisee who was breathing threats and murder against the disciples is sovereignly stopped by Jesus Himself, struck blind, and then given both physical and spiritual sight. God not only saves this foremost of sinners—He commissions him as a chosen instrument to take the light of the gospel into a dark world.

This text reminds us that every true conversion follows the same pattern: we were headed in the wrong direction, God apprehended us by His grace, He opened our eyes, and He put us into service. We who once were blind now see—and we are sent to take that light to others.
